Lilly pairs its amylin analog eloralintide with tirzepatide. Phase 2 in type 2 diabetes gave 23.3 percent weight loss at the top combination; two AMPLIFY phase 3 trials were registered in October 2026.

Malaysia's Health Ministry told Parliament it seized 697 units of unregistered retatrutide in 12 raids since 2025. Lilly's triple agonist is still in Phase 3, with a US filing planned for the first quarter of 2027, so no product can be legally sold.

Lilly's triple agonist beat the top Ozempic dose on A1C and weight in TRANSCEND-T2D-2, but 7.9% on the higher dose stopped for adverse events versus 2.7% on Ozempic. The lower dose kept most of the benefit.
